What we verified first-hand
Esports-first is not marketing here; it is the board. Logged-out on 8 Jul 2026 we counted 311 esports events: CS2 26, LoL 37, Dota 2 27, Valorant 36, with the rest spread across other titles. No account was needed to browse any of it.
One access quirk matters for anyone trying to replicate our numbers: Thunderpick 403-blocks server-side bots. Scripted HTTP sampling bounces off; our rows were collected in a real browser session. That is why Thunderpick will accumulate samples slower than a book like Cloudbet, whose board answers anything.
Thunderpick publishes no margin claim — nothing to hold the measurements against except the measurements themselves. On KYC, converging third-party reviews describe a no-KYC-by-default model; we have not primary-verified that, so it stays labelled as secondary reporting.

KYC and access notes
Browsing: fully open to anonymous visitors in a real browser. Automated sampling: blocked (403) at the server. Sign-up friction: reviews converge on no KYC by default, unverified by us. That combination — open board, bot-hostile server — shapes our cadence more than our conclusions.
What the data says — and doesn't, yet

Round 1 puts Thunderpick's prices at the wide end of the basket: 10.98-11.54% on 3-way pre-match esports, against Duel's 3.87% on a live 2-way the same day. But depth and price are different axes. A book listing 311 esports events lets you bet matches nobody else prices at all, and the 7.79% live row shows the board can tighten on 2-way markets. What four rows cannot establish: whether 11% is the standing rate for 3-way esports here or an artifact of the fixtures we happened to catch. Medians wait for n≥6 on the history log.
